Ra. 1 (or Ra. One) is an upcoming Bollywood science-fiction superhero film directed by Anubhav Sinha and starring Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The film is reported to have a budget of INR 1 billion, making it the second-most expensive film in India, after Blue, and equaling the record of My Name Is Khan‘s buyover for the same price. On 10 February 2010 Khan stated on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross that Jackie Chan “has been approached for a role in the film, and hopefully we will see Jackie in the film, also stating that he could not afford him because he is too expensive ” The film will be produced under Shahrukh Khan’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment.[2]
